Most of our garments are original, or vintage reproductions at least 30 years old. All are pre-owned, except those labelled as New. We have a few modern reproductions, for people who are nervous about wearing antiques.
You can search by group (see the slideshow on our home page) or your size, to see our lovely garments.
For some Steampunk or Goth possibilities, search black or Gothic, as well as Edwardian, Victorian and Victorian Revival.
There are a few items from big-name designers: search designer to see them.
Coats - includes capes, capelets, bertha collars, shawl, muffs; mostly original from various eras.
Hats (at end of Coats section) - women's; original or repro from various eras.
All our pre-owned garments have been cleaned recently, and are in a non-smoking environment (with moth-repellent).
Within each category, the garments are listed roughly in order of size. Women's dress sizes are roughly: XXS (bust up to 80cm, waist up to 56cm, about size 6 and smaller), XS (waist up to 61cm, about size 8), S (waist up to 66cm, about size 10), M (waist up to73cm, about size 12), L (about size 14). Measurements quoted are of the dress, not the wearer.
Menswear: Why Scottish? Because it goes with any era. The jackets are designed for wear with kilts or (high-waisted) tartan trousers, but we won't mind if they're worn with plain trousers.
The styles of the men's jackets, and the kilt tartans, are different from those offered by Brave Heart Café, to avoid overlap; some of the children's outfits match those Brave Heart Café has for men.
